A Portable stove is a stove specially designed to be portable and lightweight, as for camping.

The division of portable stoves into several broad categories is based on the type of fuel used in the stove: stoves that use solid or liquid fuel that is placed in the burner before ignition; stoves that use volatile liquid fuel in a pressurised burner-tank combination; bottled-gas stoves and gravity-fed spirit stoves, which have priming pans.

Step3
Make a dimple with the center punch. Make a dimple with the center punch. Chose a point on the line of your drawing and create a dimple with the center punch to prepare the metal for piercing. The dimple created by the center punch will prevent the drill from slipping and marring the metal or causing you injury during the drilling process.
Step4
Drill hole. Drill hole. Pierce the disk with a drill and saw out the flower from the center of the disk. The disk will frame the flower, which will be composed from negative space. File and sand until smooth.
Step5
Sand the pin. Sand the pin. File the disk smooth after you have completed sawing and piercing the centered flower.
Step6
File edges. File edges. Be sure to carefully sand the edges of the pin as well.
Step7
Drill two holes in the disk using a drill bit the same size as your 18 gauge wire.
Step8
Burn wire until it forms a ball. Burn wire until it forms a ball. Cut a 2 inch piece of 18 gauge wire. Burn the end until it balls up. You can use a kitchen torch such as is used to make crème Brule. Set aside.
Step9

Step10
Cut a second piece of 20 gauge sterling silver, nickel silver or steel wire so that it is 3 inches long. Form this piece of wire into a “u” shape. Solder it to what will become the back side of the disk to form the pin stem and catch. Step11 Pickle to remove any fire scale. Sand until desired finish is complete. Step12 Make the pin stem. Make the pin stem. Cut the wire arc about ½ inch from the base of the disk. The long side will become the pin stem. At the base of the long side, wrap the wire around your round nose pliers twice and then bend the long side down until it round parallel to the base of the disk and can tuck under the hook. Step13 Make the catch. Make the catch. The short side of the wire will become the hook. File the short side of the wire with a cup burr until very smooth. Using your round nose pliers, form it into a hook. Step14 File to a point. File to a point. File the end of the pin to a point using a needle file. Step15 Take the other piece of wire you had set aside and run it through what will be the top side of your pin so that the ball of the wire faces the front of the pin. Note that the top side is the side that faces away from the hook of your pin. Step16 Slide the bead onto the wire. Step17 Push the bead until it is flush. Step18 Get ready to rivet. Get ready to rivet. Then slide the wire through the second hole drilled in the disk. Step19 Very gently, but firmly use your ball pein hammer to hammer the end of the wire down onto the face of base plate to secure the stone. The stone should be secure, but it will be able to move up and down on the wire. Step20 Back of pin. Back of pin. Hammer the pin stem with a raw hide hammer or ball pein hammer until it is hard and springy. The back of the pin will look as pictured.
