MercuryCloud was hired to define a hip, new look for the University of Washington’s Undergraduate Admissions department. The challenge was to keep the website as informative as the old site, but maintain a high level of quality and fun.
The result is a completely redesigned website with unique headers on every page (300+ pages), AJAX based polls, and randomly generated “factoids” on many pages throughout the website, highlighting the many reasons to come study at U-Dub.
I built the website in valid XHTML/CSS, and used our custom textpattern plugins to quickly construct out the website. Additional custom plugins were developed to collect information regarding information mailers to be sent to interested applicants.
